Kaori Ishii /Director
Dec 6th 1978 Born in Tokyo, Japan.
Mar 2001 Graduated of the University of the sacred Heart, Tokyo. Major was philosophy.
Apr 2001-Jun 2003 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
Apr 2003-Mar 2004 Graduated of the scenario writing school.
July 2003-Mar 2005 Agency for Cultural Affairs
Sep 2004-July 2005 Graduated of the film making school.
Aug 2005 Won a prize of the human documentary contest of Abeno, by the film “I’m sorry, Grandma,” as a director and a producer.
Oct 2005 Joined making a documentary movie titled “Tsui no Sumika,” directed by Tatsuya Yamamoto, as an assistant director.
Dec 2005 Making a documentary film “Haisha nagaya no ijinsan,” co-directed by Tadashi Suzuki of SPAC, and Kaori Ishii. It was a stage drama.
Aug 2006 Completed “Chain of Life” as a director.
May 2007 Have been joined making a new documentary movie directed by Sumiko Haneda as an assistant director.
